Planning a Tulum November 2026 itinerary? For a stay between November 3 and 11, build your holiday around three different experiences: local archaeology, cenote swimming and a nature outing. Spread them across separate days and keep the order flexible. You do not need to visit every major attraction to have a memorable Riviera Maya trip.

Day 1: Tulum ruins and one cenote
Begin with a mix of history and water on the Tulum ruins and cenote private tour. This is a useful first outing when your group wants more than a beach day without committing to a distant archaeological destination. Tell us your accommodation, preferred date, walking needs and swimming confidence before we suggest the pickup plan.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, a towel and a change of clothes. Confirm the exact packing list and current site rules with your guide. Archaeological areas involve outdoor walking, while cenotes may involve steps and uneven surfaces. Private transport does not remove those physical requirements.
Day 2: Choose water time or a rest day
If cenotes are your priority, choose the two-cenote exploration instead of, or on a different day from, the ruins combination. Discuss the type of cenote experience your group wants and the current conditions. The final choice should fit your group rather than only a photograph you have seen online.
If one swim is enough, leave this day free for your accommodation, restaurants or beach. Another option is to keep it available as a weather buffer. We can quote separate tour days; this guide is a suggested plan, not a prepaid three-day package.
Day 3: Muyil and the Sian Ka’an channels
For a change of setting, ask about the Muyil and Sian Ka’an channels private tour. Confirm which archaeological, boat and floating sections are included in the quotation for your date. Water activities and access depend on local conditions and operating decisions. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Share any mobility concerns, difficulty entering a boat or uncertainty about floating before booking. A quieter-looking activity can still require steps, balance or getting in and out of the water. Your guide can discuss the route’s demands and whether an alternative is more suitable.
How to adapt this itinerary
- Short stay: pick one ruins-and-cenote day and keep the rest relaxed.
- Families: prioritize the children’s stamina, breaks and swimming ability.
- Couples: choose two contrasting outings and protect time for your own plans.
- Groups: send the passenger count, bags and any equipment needs so the vehicle can be confirmed.
If your main goal is a larger inland archaeological site, use the private tour catalogue to discuss another full-day option. Avoid placing a long excursion on your flight day.
What should your quotation include?
Ask for the final tour price, pickup and return arrangements, admissions, meals, equipment, guide language and any exclusions. Check whether you are comparing a transport-only service with a guided experience. Read the planning and booking FAQs before paying a reservation deposit.
Make your November plan practical
Send your travel dates, accommodation, adults and children, preferred activities and any accessibility or dietary needs. We will check availability and help you choose a realistic order for your private outings.
